DIYing together for 9 years and counting
We purchased our first home – a true fixer-upper – in 2014. We didn’t know how much work was ahead of us or how our lives would change, but we took it one room, one project and one nail at a time.
We’re based out of Toronto and bought our house when we were childless and care-free. Since then, we’ve renovated almost our entire house and added 3 kids to the mix. We’ve added floors, tore down walls and rebuilt. What once felt like a massive house now feels full. Full of memories, full of love and full of our own blood, sweat and tears (literally).
We’re not professionals (and you’ll see that), our safety standards are shotty at times and we’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way. But most of what you see on this site was done ourselves.
