We’re now all set up in the master bedroom, so it’s time to deal with the back bedroom. When we went to get the back bedroom walls ready for paint, we noticed that the wall was flexing; the plaster was no longer attached to the lath. It didn’t take much for large chunks of plaster to fall away from the wall.
So my dad and I carefully removed the plaster from this wall and the adjacent wall.
And then replaced it with sheets of drywall.
My dad taped, mudded and sanded the walls. Have I mentioned how much I hate doing that?!
This is hopefully the end of all drywalling projects for the house. Famous last words…
