The roller coaster ride continues…
This morning we got a call from the bank. CMHC wants to do an appraisal.
The problem is that our offer expires tomorrow at 9pm and getting an appraiser to see the house before then is going to be a challenge. The bank is currently doing everything they can to get someone to show up… but it’s not looking good…
Our worry is two-fold: that the appraisal will come back at less than we’ve offered or that the appraisal won’t come back at all because there isn’t enough time to get it done.
